Family

Me, my Mom, and my brother Mike
~~~
My brother Mike was diagnosed with brain cancer in late January of this year. He had surgery and is now undergoing radiation and taking the new chemo pill. His prognosis is good and we're all praying for the best. He is fighting for his life and I admire him and am humbled by his courage and faith through this...
I had to take Caden to the ER Monday morning and he was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. It was a rough 4 days and 3 nights with breathing treatments, IVs, X-rays, an oxygen tent, blood draws, and a fever that would not go down. He was so brave even though he was so sick. Mommy had to stay the night and sleep under the oxygen tent with him which was "an experience..." What a tough week but we are so happy to be home again and to have him better...
Prescott, AZ
This picture was taken in October 2000 during my first Fall Break as a teacher. My mom took me to a Bed and Breakfast for a few days in Prescott (to try and cheer me up over a broken heart) and it was so beautiful in the Fall. I love the leaves in the background...
Coco
I thought I should introduce our "other" family members since they are so much a part of our everyday lives. Perhaps I am a mother of "four" after all...
Mommy with her snowbunnies
We went to Flagstaff for a weekend birthday trip for me and for the boys to have a chance to play in the snow this year. We ended up taking along some children of friends of ours and the kids had a great time together. Sledding was so much fun - I hadn't done it since I was a kid. We then built a snowman and of course, Daddy had to add the D. Coke. It was freezing but a nice change of weather. I love the snow and wish we could live in it! The boys were so sad to leave it...
